How to Make DoubleTree Signature Cookies in an Air Fryer

DoubleTree Hotels are famous for the warm chocolate chip cookies they hand out at check-in. You can recreate those signature cookies at home — and even make them quickly in an air fryer.

These cookies are especially delicious when served warm, with gooey chocolate chips, oats, and crunchy walnuts in every bite.

Using an air fryer speeds up baking and gives you warm cookies in minutes without heating your entire kitchen.

DoubleTree Signature Cookies in the Air Fryer

This copycat recipe is easy and fast. Many readers ask why I prefer the air fryer to the oven — the short answer is that it’s much quicker. The dough can be made ahead and frozen, so you can bake as many or as few cookies as you want without extra prep.

These cookies bake very quickly and come out perfectly golden brown. Because they’re served warm, the chocolate is soft and melty — the ideal cookie experience.

That golden-brown exterior gives way to a soft, tender interior that practically melts in your mouth.

How to make Air Fryer DoubleTree Cookies

  1. In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until creamy, about 1–2 minutes.
  2. Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice. Mix until the mixture is combined and slightly fluffy, scraping down the bowl as needed.
  3. Slowly add the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix gently until a soft dough forms.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed through the dough.
  5. Scoop portions of dough onto parchment-lined air fryer basket (use parchment with small holes for venting). Leave space between cookies to spread.
  6. Cook at 300°F (about 150°C) for 6–7 minutes, or until cookies are golden brown and no longer doughy on the bottom. Let cookies rest in the basket for about a minute before lifting them out with a spatula.
