Valentine’s Day is almost here. If you haven’t started planning yet, now is a great time to get organized. I’ve been thinking about this for weeks because I’m working on a small project for my child’s school. I’ve done Candy Grams before, but wanted a fresh design this year. If you’re wondering what I mean—it’s Candy Grams!

As a member of the PTO, our school repurposes leftover fall fundraising candy bars and turns them into Valentine’s Day Candy Grams. This year I created a new printable specifically for PTO use, and while I was at it I made versions anyone can use. Below you’ll find options for PTO fundraisers and general candy grams to send to friends, classmates, or coworkers.

Printable for PTO/PTA Fundraisers
Many schools have policies that limit parents or outside visitors from bringing gifts to classrooms during the school day. I understand this completely—imagine hundreds of students receiving flowers, balloons, and treats at once. That’s disruptive. However, when coordinated through the school, PTO/PTA can run an approved Candy Gram fundraiser that’s organized, easy to distribute, and helpful for raising funds.
At our school we sell candy bars during a large fall fundraiser and inevitably end up with extra boxes. A Valentine’s Day Candy Gram is a perfect way to use that leftover candy and raise money for school programs. To make this easy, I designed a customizable, free printable for PTO/PTA use. The templates leave key fields blank so you can fill in your school’s details, and I created three versions: a copier-friendly black-and-white layout for mass printing, and two colorful options to use on social media or email to parents.

Use the copier-friendly version for bulk printouts to send home with students or hand out at events. The colored options are handy for promoting the fundraiser online or in newsletters. Each form includes fields for teacher and grade, which simplifies sorting and distribution.

All-Purpose Candy Grams
If you want to send a Candy Gram to a friend, coworker, or classmate, I also created printable candy bar wrappers and labels that work for anyone. There’s a printer-friendly black-and-white option to save ink, plus colorful red/pink and blue designs. These are perfect for slipping onto candy bars and attaching a short note.

For small party favors, I also have a coordinating Valentine’s Day treat bag topper that pairs nicely with these candy wrappers. They’re simple to print and assemble for class parties or neighborhood exchanges.

I hope these printables make your Valentine’s Day preparations easier and more fun. If you’d like to receive updates and new printables, consider subscribing to the blog to get posts delivered to your inbox.
